Reconfiguring the lab
So the lab systems right now are a pair of Dell PE1950's (rebranded as EMC Recovery Points - Dual Xeon Quad Core procs, 16GB RAM ), a Cisco 3750G 24 Port Switch and a beat up server running FreeNAS. This has been a pain point for a while now, so It's finally getting an upgrade.
Bought two 64GB RAM Kits to upgrade the servers
4 x Quad GigE NIC to provide redundancy
Ordered a 48Port 10/100/1000 Cisco Switch to go with the current switch
Also setup a Synology 1815+ with 3x3TB drives and 2xSSD for Read/Write caching.
Should be good for experimenting with this configuration, assuming all goes well :)
